Greater Reading - Berks Economic Partnership

Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ)

The Greater Reading KIZ is managed by the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GRCCI) and receives direction from the KIZ Partnership Advisory Committee (KIZPAC).  The program provides a package of business services that utilize and leverage university and college assets to support start-up and early-stage businesses within the KIZ focus target industries and the designated KIZ geography.

To be eligible for KIZ assistance, a company must meet the following criteria:

  • A for-profit company
  • Incorporated within 8 years of the date of approved funding for this application
  • Located within the geographic boundaries of the Greater Reading KIZ
  • Provide products or services that fall into the Advanced Materials and Diversified Manufacturing, Business Services, High Technology, or Life Sciences industries.
  • Unique technology
